ATTEND GDC  

VOLUNTEER COMMITMENT

Conference Associates need to be available during the entire conference dates, including the mandatory volunteer training session on Sunday, August 18 at 11:00. An exact volunteer's schedule & assignments will be given to you closer to the event.

DUTIES INCLUDE:

• Monitoring conference sessions
• Stuffing conference bags
• Distribute and collect speaker evaluations
• Provide assistance to the instructors, as needed (distributing handouts, calling on technical support, etc)
• Checking badges at breaks and special events
• Assisting conference attendees with their questions
• Handle miscellaneous projects as needed

CONFERENCE INFORMATION

• Volunteer Dates: Monday, August 19 – Wednesday, August 21, 2013
• Mandatory volunteer training session is Sunday, August 18 at 11:00

• Volunteer Hours (a minimum of 20 hours of service will be required during the following hours):
  Conference Days - Approximately 7:00 - 19:30 (specific hours will be assigned)
  Evening Events - Approximately 16:30 - 22:00 (specific hours will be assigned)

YOU WILL STILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR :

• Travel expenses to and from the conference
• Hotel or housing expenses
• Expenses for any meals which are not normally covered in the "Conference Associate Pass"

NOTE: We do our best to keep the working time for every one as short and enjoyable as possible. However, while individual needs will be taken into consideration, we cannot guarantee that all requests will be granted.
